Dispatcher
Evans Distribution Systems, one of the area's leading third party logistics providers is looking for experienced Dispatchers for its growing Transportation Division. Our headquarters is located near I-75 and Outer Drive. The position is paid hourly plus overtime including a shift premium. Starting wage is based off of experience.
Openings are for Midnight shift: Rotational Weekends
9:00pm to 530am Monday thru Friday
Essential Job Functions:
Communicate critical load information to customers on SPD, JIT lanes, etc.
Update Driver's status on Transportation Management System - Sylectus.
Update customer load boards
Chrysler STARS
Penske Portal
Ryder LMS
Communicate and monitor daily schedules for Drivers.
Weekend coverage will be required based on a rotation schedule
Requirements:
Degree in Logistics or equivalent experience.
Experience in the Automotive Industry is essential.
Excellent computer skills - Excel and Outlook.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
