Junior Financial Analyst The Junior Financial Analyst is focused on analyzing and interpreting the financial results and communicating insights to the business.
This role is hands on and will require initiative, the ability to work independently, and a roll up your sleeves attitude.
This role will be instrumental in understanding plant operations (inventory, counts, WIP, high level processes) and their impact on the financial results.
Further, costing (cost accounting entries), trending, sales and GM analytics for both actuals/forecasting/budgeting will be part of the scope.

Objectives Decipher system parameters and pull data and information Manage all month end processes (in particular as they pertain to the USA) Assist with annual budget and monthly forecast processes Provide business insights Balance Sheet Account reconciliations (inventory and interco in particular) Inter-company processing Assists in preparation of schedules for outside auditors Support monthly reporting, including sales/GM and cost analytics Analyzes cost center detail and explains variances Enforce Purchasing Procedures and Controls at the US Plant Support of ERP implementation Consolidation of financials Risk and opportunity management and execution Cost accounting entries/analytics, inventory revaluation Development of control processes Coverage of shipping/receiving and other duties for vacation purposes Other as required REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Accounting Designation and active member status - preferred Minimum 3 years combined experience in accounting and finance in manufacturing Previous experience in financial reporting/analysis, budgeting, forecasting Experience and exposure to AS400/Hyperion/M3 nice to have Excellent knowledge of Excel (expert level) and MS Office Solid knowledge of accounting functions and understanding of cost accounting entries Detail oriented, organized, flexible, self motivated (little on-site supervision) Proven ability to meet deadlines, work in a fast paced environment Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with high credibility at all levels of the organization Sense of urgency High level of functionality and perseverance Travel between sites within North America may be required.
